We are looking for a dedicated and results-oriented Medical Representative to promote
Boehringer Ingelheim products across Kingston, St. Andrew and the southern side of the Island.
The ideal candidate will serve as a point of contact between our company and healthcare
professionals, creating awareness and generating demand for our pharmaceuticals while adhering
to industry regulations and ethical standards.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals including doctors,
pharmacists, and hospital staff.
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to educate healthcare professionals on
the benefits and uses of Boehringer Ingelheim products.
Arrange appointments and manage a regular calling schedule to ensure effective coverage
of assigned territories.
Keep accurate records of each contact and the outcomes of visits, ensuring databases are
updated with relevant information.
Achieve assigned sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies and identifying
growth opportunities.
Stay current on medical updates and product knowledge to effectively communicate with
clients and address their needs.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity, adjusting marketing strategies as
necessary.
Participate in medical conferences, workshops, and other events to promote our product
range and maintain professional relationships.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations in all sales activities.
Bachelor’s degree in a Science-related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of sales experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving growth.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective strategies.
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable motor vehicle.
Valid United States of America visa
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
