Hourly rate: $54.7973 / $62.7052 per hour dependant on classification

About the role
Our psychologist works within the Complex Care team to assess clients who present with physical and psychological difficulties, conduct psychological tests and interviews, develop a care plan with reference to the client's goals, and provide psychological interventions/ therapy using a biopsychosocial framework.
Interventions will include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, chronic disease management, relaxation therapy, grief and loss therapy, trauma therapy, stress management, pain and weight management.
The goal of psychological assessment and therapy in the context of this role is disease/illness prevention, management, and recovery. These activities are conducted within the context of a multidisciplinary approach to care when that is appropriate for the client, to promote access to psychological care

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check.
