An exciting opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse Lead working within the South Rehabilitation and Recovery inpatient services supporting patients with complex mental health needs.

The post holder will work as a member of the Multi-disciplinary Team ensuring that high quality individualised care is delivered which ensures safety and a commitment to promoting high quality care and treatment to patients with complex mental health needs.  Planning & Interventions, Reviews and Discharge Planning. You will act as a named nurse and support band 5 nurses within their role and within multidisciplinary team, developing coproduced, patient centred needs based care plans, through assessment, planning and implantation and evaluation. You will provide excellent professional, skilled and effective person centred evidence based nursing care. You will be actively involved in the health and wellbeing of staff, service users, families and carers. You will be visible and accessible to both patients, families and carers, working together to ensure efficient, effective safe and caring services. You will contribute to all performances indicators, essential standards and quality outcomes.  

You will contribute to the education and development of the workforce and students.

You will participate in staff appraisals, supervisions and support personal development plans.

You will safely administer medications following trust polices and practice guidelines.

You will provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity and be involved in quality and performance, taking the lead on audits, link roles and supporting the ward manager and nurse specialist.
