KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Dispensing medications in an accurate and timely manner.
- Completing pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' workflow.
- Providing pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counselling patients on drug therapies.
- Providing effective and efficient drug procurement and storage.
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.
- Assisting with the company’s stock taking process.
- Drive retail sales and patient retention.
- Provide direct supervision to pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support personnel ensuring compliance in all areas.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Associate Degree in Pharmacy.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Pharmacy practice.
- Must be able to obtain registration with the St. Lucia Pharmacy Council.
- A passion for service excellence and patient centered care.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Pharmacy Act and Regulations of St. Lucia.
- Ability to Supervise and lead a team to achieve the organizational goals.
- Ability to analyze information and make sound judgments.
- A general understanding of the pharmaceutical retail sector.
- Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
